The History of OP Financial Group

OP Financial Group was established at the start of the 20th century to fulfil the needs of its surrounding communities. We have been creating prosperity and promoting growth on behalf of Finnish society for 120 years. The historical account of OP Financial Group’s first 100 years, "Lähellä ihmistä" (Close to People), ends in the mid-90s. Now is the time to continue the story from the 1990s banking crisis to the 2020s.
